Peera Dewjee(Born in 1841 Kera).

As a legacy for his five sons, Abdulhussein, Abdulrasul, Abdulrab, Abdulali and Abdulrashid, Peera Dewjee founded the business he called Abdool Hoossein Bros. & Co.

It was first established in Zanzibar in 1894 and a branch office opened in Mombasa in 1896. He managed the business on behalf of his sons until they were old enough to take over. Right up until his death he channelled much of his energy into making it a successful venture.
