Abdulrasul (my dad) was raised and studied in Mombasa, Kenya.
He moved to Tanga in 1949 and was employed at Buhuri Sisal Estate as an accountant.
He married my mother Shirin, daughter of Gulamali Merali Jiwa, in 1951 and had 3 children:
Rosemin - married to Badru Esmail (Tagaro) living in Edmonton since 1975.
Yasmin - was married to Mehboob Teja - he passed away last January of heart attack. Yasmin is still in Vancouver.
Karim is not yet married and lives in Edmonton.
My parents have lived in Edmonton since 1976, now retired.
