York Cemetery, Toronto,Canada

Since 1948, York Cemetery has been providing service to North York and its neighbouring communities. A portion of the cemetery office is located in the Michael Shepard House, built in the early 1850s and designated by the North York Historical Board as having architectural and historical significance.

By arrangement with a number of ethnic communities, including the Ismaili Muslim Jamaat of Toronto, this cemetery was the first to be used upon settlement in Canada.

Sunday and evening appointments may be available upon request.

October 1st to Eastern Standard Time: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Eastern Standard Time to Daylight Saving: 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
