The German Colonial Handbook 1908 mentions "Merali Mulji & Co. as an Indian firm, resident in the German East Africa capital of Dar-es salaam in 1908. He was not listed in the 1903 or 1904 handbook so it seems he may have joined his brother Suleman Mulji who was listed as resident in Dar es Salaam 1903.
