The German Colonial Handbook 1903 mentions "Kimji Premji" as an Indian trader in Dar es Salaam in 1903.
The 1908 edition of the German Colonial Handbook confirms that he was still trading in Dar es Salaam in 1908.
He seemed to have brought his brother Abdallah Premji to Dar es Salaam between 1903 and 1908 as Abdallah is not mentioned in the earlier Handbook.
