-Someone in Mundra connected me to a Mr Jadeja - a Rajput from Dhrafa. Met and Spoke to him in 2017 - he said that following the conquest of Jamnagar State in 154O by Jam Sri Rawalji, a descendant of the Jadeja ruler of Kutch,Khojas followed the ruler and the Rajputs warriors and Kutchi Khoja merchant all walked from Jamnagar to Dhrafa as they could claim land there.
There was a thriving Khoja merchant class in Dhrafa , a Jamatkhana also
I contacted the school and they advised that yes, they have a register of all pupils (including Khojas) since school was founded - I gave the name Ismail Nanji and they wanted the birth year - I made a rough guess and it was not in the 5 year year range I gave them. Per Shiraz Nanji, London
