In 1920 Hasham Lalji was the Kamadia in Nairobi with Hussein Suleiman Verjee. When Hashambhai moved to Eldoret he helped to build a Jamatkhana there. In 1930 the Government gave the land for the Jamatkhana On India Road, now Moi Road. It was often full to capacity. The adjoining grounds were used for celebrating festive Occassions.

Hashambhai also built a club house for recreation, however it was later converted to a nursery schol.

Ali Kassam also helped in the building of the school during Diamond Jubilee of Mowlana Sultan Mohamed Shah. On the same premises there was a Rest House( Dharam Shala) it served the business people and visitors to Eldoret.

In Eldoret Hasham Lalji family continued to build partnerships with local people. Farms and Mills, oil Mills, Sisal Farm in Moshi, large acreage in Eldoret with state of the art ploughing, tractors and ready market.

The business grew and continues to grow.
