The German Colonial Handbook 1903 mentions "Kassam Dossa" as an Indian resident of Pangani in 1903.His business is listed "ground loans, which we take to mean money lending on security of the land & farms, largely to Arabs and Waswahili, which was very common in Pangani for along time.
