Khudabaksh Bhai acquired his early education in Gwadar and was considered one of the brightest students in the school. He performed various duties for the Jamaat at the Gwadar Council and its subsidiary bodies. From 1944 to 1948 he was Kamadia at the Gwadar Jamaat.
Before the formation of Pakistan, he relocated to Karachi and gained enormous success in business. He was a well-liked personality and was known to be enormously kind and generous. It is believed that he never spoke ill or caused anyone intentional harm. On the contrary, he bore losses himself rather than pass it on to others.
On July 9, 1991 he passed on after a long illness and is buried at the Ismailia Cemetery in Golimar, Karachi.
