Kurban Versi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Education at University of Dar es Salaam after which he taught A Levels at Shinyanga and Pugu Secondary Schools from 1968 to 1971. He later migrated to Canada where he is doing accountancy. He was on the editorial board of Al Huda, official magazine of ISIJ Toronto.
