Musa Tharia Topan

Topan started building the Jubilee Hospital in Zanzibar. In a remarkable display of inter-denominational cooperation, his sons Musa and Gafar divided their estates according to the Sunni slum a (religious law): Gafar made endowments for a Sunni mosque, and Musa for a Sunni madrasa (religious seminary).
