The German Colonial Handbook 1903 lists "Pira & Remu Meghji" as one of local Indian businesses, involved in sugar cane milling, resident in Pangani in 1903. he is also listed in 1908 edition of the German Colonial Handbook as beign in sugar cane milling but his brother Pira does not appear anymore as a businessman in Pangani.
