Testimonial:

My wonderful days in Tanga by Sultan Rahemtulla.

My most memorable school days were in Tanga. In 1960, my dearest brother and sister-in-law, Kamrubha and Zehra bhabhi, most graciously offered to take me to live with their children, Ferial, Naz, Azmina and Aziz in Tanga, so that I would be more motivated to pay attention to my studies. They were like a father and mother figure to me, and to this day I keep remembering and talking highly of them. Kamrubha and Zehra bhabhi truly had admirable qualities.

I vividly remember Kamrubha working at Motor Mart and sometimes bringing brand new cars home for a test drive. I remember Zehra Bhabhi and how very particular she was about the house being kept spotless, an amazing cook, an astute and very successful business lady, making trips in their truck to deliver goods to smaller townships and villages, taking an active role in Chama Cha Wanawake, a government organization, having a huge circle of friends who they met to socialize and play cards with, and raising her beloved children, who she loved with all her heart.

I stayed in Tanga for six years until I completed my Form 4 education. I remember helping in the shop after school to either pick up payments from clients or making small deliveries, and the fun weekends we spent at Rasakazone. Along the way, I made some lifelong friends in Tanga, and to this day we still keep in touch. I am deeply grateful to my dearest Kamrubha, Zehra Bhabhi, Ferial, Naz, Azmina and Aziz for my unforgettable and wonderful time that I had spent with them. I shall always cherish these amazing memories.
