The German Colonial Handbook 1908 mentions "Remtalla Talib" as an owner of an oil factory in Dar es Salaam in 1908. As he does not appear in the 1904 version of the same handbook, he would have arrived in Dar es Salaam after that date. His two sons are not listed as living in Dar es Salaam at this time, so they appear to have moved there after 1908.
