Yasmin Bai has lead a hard life but says "shukar".
She was born to a small store owner, Mr. Nathoobhai Sindwani of Porbandar and had a good youth. She studied up 6th chopri Gujarati.
When she was 30 years old, she was married into an Agra Khoja Ismail family, who ran a retail shop. It was her husbands 2nd marriage and for the next 7 years, she looked after his 2 children from his previous marriage. She had no children of her own.
Unfortunately, he was murdered and she had to return to live with her parents and brother in Porbandar.
After about 7 years, her father also died and then her married sister called her to live with her in Hyderabad. There she helped to look after her sister's sister-in-law and also her daughter, who she considers as her own.
She stayed with her sister for 16 years and says she was kept well.
In 2015, she returned to Porbandar after her sister-in law who she was looking after, also died.
