Animesh completed his B.Com. from Bhavnagar University, and also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources (HR). In addition, he earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Bhavnagar University.
At present, he serves as a Manager in the Learning and Development Department at SBI Life Insurance Co. Pvt. Ltd.
During 2007–2008, he participated in the International Heritage Discovery Program, through which he traveled to Uganda, Tanzania, and London. He was selected for this program as part of the Golden Jubilee International Program, where he had the opportunity to visit Ismaili heritage sites and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their culture. Since 2011, he has been working as a Research Assistant for developing website content for the Heritage Discovery Program. In this role, he conducted critical reviews of literature and assisted in preparing bibliographies for research by using books, journals, and oral traditions.
He also served as a Career Counselor with Aga Khan Education Services during 2012–2013. He is a faculty member with ITREB for the Youth Quest Imamat program, and since 2024 he has been serving as ITREB India faculty for the Ilm Fest – “A Window into the Qur’an.”
He was selected as a volunteer for the Jubilee Arts 2018 International Arts Festival in Lisbon, and he also served as a volunteer during the 2018 Diamond Jubilee celebrations in Lisbon.
Since 2017, he has been serving as faculty for several ITREB India programs, including Parwaz, Let Your Intellect Soar, Iqra, and Hikmah. He also served as a National Team Member for the Time and Knowledge Nazrana initiative during 2013–2014. He has earned several academic qualifications and certificates, including:

He has also received training through the Gujarat Resource Development Program conducted by ITREB India.
