Dhanji Parpia traded in partnership with Manek Haji, who was probably related to Sewa Haji.
When his presumed son Peera Dhanji died in Bagamoyo in 1894, Alidina Kanji, the business partner of Sewa Haji Paroo, acted as trustee for probate.10
He seems to have carried on business in Karachi as well as he is mentioned in the following court case:
