In 1950, he started working in ONGC company. He lived in centers like Bisnagar, Mehsana and Ahmedabad, Ankleshwar, Mumbai, Assam, Amreli, Babra, Rajkot, Bhavnagar etc.

Due to his life of religious spirit, he used to donate regularly for the education of the girls of Rajkot Girls Academy. He made tireless efforts for the education of the underprivileged families of Bhavnagar and Rajkot Center and kept donating to pay the school fees of the brilliant children. In honor of his mother, Samratben Khushalbhai Surani, he encouraged them to work in programs to honor the brilliant children every year during his residence in Babra.

He contributed in organizing a blood donors camp for a year in Babra.

He served as the convener of the Health Committee in Babra Medical Center during 1995 - 1996.
